Dog Training & Behaviour Support in Tilneys
I’m Michelle LeBourn. For owners in Tilney St Lawrence and Tilney All Saints, I offer a conversation about the dog you know, not a set of assumptions based on their age or breed. You may be starting out with a puppy or looking for help with behaviour that has become difficult. I’m based in Marshland St James near Wisbech, and we can discuss a suitable way to work together.
Useful learning without a rigid programme
A puppy joining your home needs time to learn the routines and experiences you share. We can focus on confidence, settling and early skills, with room for the questions that arise in your household. Village lanes and surrounding farmland may be relevant to your day, but introductions need to suit the puppy rather than happen simply because an environment is nearby.
With an adult dog, one-to-one training can address recall and lead pulling. If you’re concerned about anxiety or reactivity, behaviour support considers the wider context and what your dog may be finding difficult. I use ethical, reward-based methods, and adapt the work rather than expect every dog to respond to the same plan.

Agreeing the location before we meet
Please tell me whether you’re in Tilney St Lawrence or Tilney All Saints and share your address when you enquire. We’ll discuss availability, travel arrangements and whether home or another agreed location is most appropriate. A puppy’s initial consultation lasts 90 minutes, with one-hour follow-ups at home or an agreed location. Combining the villages on one page doesn’t mean the practical arrangements are identical for every address. The setting needs to fit your dog and the purpose of the appointment.
A free consultation to clarify your needs
The free 20-minute consultation is a chance to ask initial questions and explain what you would like help with. You may have a clear goal, or you may be unsure how training and behaviour concerns relate. We can talk through that uncertainty and consider appropriate support. There’s no need to prepare a formal account or decide on a session type before we have discussed your situation together.
When working online may suit you
Online sessions are available if remote guidance would be more practical for your circumstances. We can talk about routines and concerns from your home, and consider whether that format meets your needs. I’ll explain if a different arrangement seems more appropriate. The important thing is choosing support thoughtfully, rather than assuming a home visit or online session is always the answer regardless of the issue.
My qualifications and approach
I hold BCCSDip.ProCanBhvPct, am fully insured and canine first aid qualified. I’m recommended by local veterinary practices, the RSPCA West Norfolk and Second Chance Spaniel Rescue. I’ll listen carefully to what you observe and bring reward-based guidance to our work. I want you to understand the choices we make, and feel comfortable asking questions when something is unclear or hard to put into practice.
