Dog Training & Behaviour Support in Sutton Bridge

I’m Michelle LeBourn, and I offer personalised, one-to-one puppy training and dog behaviour support for people in Sutton Bridge. You may be looking for a steadier start with a puppy, or feeling worn down by anxiety, reactivity, lead pulling or recall concerns. We can begin with the detail that matters most to you, then consider what kind and practical support may fit your dog. There’s no expectation that you already know what the answer should be.

Puppy foundations at your pace

The first months with a puppy can feel busy, so it can help to have time for your particular questions. I offer one-to-one guidance shaped around your puppy, your home routine and what you would like to make easier. We can focus on practical foundations without expecting every puppy to learn in the same way.

The first puppy consultation lasts 90 minutes; follow-up sessions are one hour. We can work at home or at another agreed location where that is suitable and an appointment is available.

Help with anxiety and everyday skills

If your dog finds certain people, dogs or situations difficult, I’ll want to understand what those moments are like for them and for you. We can talk through anxiety and reactivity, as well as the very real frustrations of lead pulling or recall that feels out of reach.

My approach is reward-based. We’ll look for ways to support your dog without adding pressure, and consider practical training and management choices that suit their needs. I don’t offer guaranteed outcomes; each dog’s circumstances are different and the work should reflect that.

Confirming arrangements before a visit

Where riverside paths or busy town streets are part of your routine, we can discuss what your dog encounters and where they feel comfortable. That doesn’t mean every walk is a suitable place for a first session. Your home or another agreed setting may make more sense, depending on the dog and the goal.

My base is Marshland St James near Wisbech. Just let me know your address and I’ll confirm travel and the best way to work together, whether that’s at home, somewhere we agree, or online.

A free, no-pressure consultation

The free 20-minute consultation is a chance for me to hear what you’re experiencing and for you to ask about my approach. We can discuss whether a home or agreed-location appointment is suitable and available, or consider an online session instead. Online support is available where appropriate; I’ll explain what may be useful remotely rather than suggest it can replace every kind of practical appointment.

Support that starts by listening

I hold BCCSDip.ProCanBhvPct, am fully insured and canine first aid qualified. I’m recommended by local veterinary practices, the RSPCA West Norfolk and Second Chance Spaniel Rescue. I won’t presume what matters most in your household. We can identify the situations you want to address, talk about your dog’s needs and agree sensible priorities.

Good support should feel relevant to the people and dog involved. My work is ethical and reward-based, with honest guidance rather than a promise that training follows a set schedule or produces the same result for everyone.

Questions about support in Sutton Bridge

Is my Sutton Bridge address suitable for a visit?

We’ll need to confirm your precise address, travel arrangements and appointment availability. The free 20-minute consultation is the place to discuss those details before planning a visit.

Can we discuss my dog’s reactions on riverside paths?

Yes. Tell me what happens and what they encounter. We can consider appropriate support without assuming the path is the right setting for the first session.

Are online sessions available for Sutton Bridge?

Yes. We can discuss whether online guidance would suit your puppy or dog and your goals during the free consultation.
