Dog Training & Behaviour Support in Tydd St Giles
I’m Michelle LeBourn, and I offer individual puppy training and dog behaviour support for people in Tydd St Giles. The first step is understanding what life looks like for you and your dog, not fitting you into a standard programme. Whether you’re welcoming a puppy or trying to make sense of reactivity, anxiety, recall or lead pulling, we can talk about what would help and take things at a pace that feels manageable.
Start with your puppy and your priorities
Puppies bring plenty of questions, and they don’t always arrive in a neat order. I can help you with settling, everyday routines, confidence and the early skills that make shared life easier. Our sessions are one-to-one, so we can focus on the puppy in front of us and the things you most want to work on.
The initial puppy consultation lasts 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are one hour. They take place at home or at another location we agree together, depending on what is suitable for your needs.

Support for the difficult moments
If walks have become stressful, your dog is worried by people or dogs, or recall feels unreliable, I’ll listen to what you’re seeing before suggesting practical next steps. We can explore reactivity, anxiety, lead pulling and recall without assuming that one explanation fits every dog.
I use reward-based methods and aim to understand the feelings and circumstances behind behaviour. I won’t promise a quick fix or ask you to push your dog into situations they find difficult. We’ll consider ways to make everyday life feel more workable while building skills gradually.
Choosing a suitable setting
Village lanes and Fenland droves may be relevant to your routine, but the right place to practise depends on your dog and the goal. A familiar home setting may be more useful at first than an outdoor environment full of distractions. We’ll agree what makes sense rather than assume a particular location should suit everyone.
I’m based in Marshland St James near Wisbech. Just let me know your Tydd St Giles address and I’ll confirm travel and the best way to work together, whether that’s at home, somewhere we agree, or online.
A conversation before we begin
I offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can tell me what’s happening, ask questions and find out whether my support may be appropriate. We can discuss your address and preferred appointment format before arranging a visit. If a face-to-face session isn’t suitable, online sessions are available. We can consider whether remote guidance fits the issue rather than expect you to choose without talking through the options.
Qualified guidance shaped around your dog
I hold BCCSDip.ProCanBhvPct, am fully insured and canine first aid qualified. My work is recommended by local veterinary practices, the RSPCA West Norfolk and Second Chance Spaniel Rescue. I’ll take account of your dog’s individual needs and your priorities at home, rather than rely on a one-size-fits-all plan.
We can talk through which situations feel hardest and what first steps seem realistic. My role is to offer ethical, reward-based guidance and help you make informed choices, not promise a particular outcome or expect your household to fit a fixed routine.
Questions about support in Tydd St Giles
Can you visit my home in Tydd St Giles?
Please share your exact address during the free 20-minute consultation. I’ll confirm appointment and travel arrangements before we agree a visit or consider another suitable location.
Can training consider distractions on Fenland droves?
Yes. Tell me what your dog notices and how they respond. We can choose a manageable starting setting rather than begin with the most difficult distraction.
Can we work together online?
Yes. Online sessions are available, and we can discuss whether that format suits your puppy, dog and training or behaviour goals during the free consultation.
