Dog Training & Behaviour Support in Wisbech

I’m Michelle LeBourn, based in Marshland St James near Wisbech. If everyday life with your dog has become complicated, I’ll help you work out where to begin. Perhaps busy streets are making walks difficult, or a new puppy is bringing questions you hadn’t expected. We can talk about your dog as an individual, without expecting you to have the right terminology or a ready-made training plan.

Making town walks more manageable

A dog can find a busy pavement very different from the living room. Passing people, traffic and other dogs may compete for their attention or leave them feeling worried. In one-to-one dog training, we can look at recall, lead pulling and focus in the situations that matter to you, rather than practising a skill without considering where you need it.

If anxiety or reactivity is part of the picture, I’ll consider your dog’s feelings alongside their behaviour. Reward-based support means taking those difficulties seriously, not simply asking for quiet while your dog is struggling. Puppy training can also help you introduce everyday experiences thoughtfully, with room to discuss settling and confidence.

At home or a setting we agree

A home appointment gives us the chance to look at the routines you actually share. Another agreed location may be more useful for a walking goal, provided the setting suits your dog. We don’t need to begin in the busiest surroundings just because that is where the problem happens. The initial puppy consultation lasts 90 minutes, with one-hour follow-ups at home or an agreed location. Tell me your address so we can confirm appointment availability and travel arrangements before meeting.

A free conversation about your priorities

My free 20-minute consultation is a chance to explain what a difficult day looks like and what you would like to make easier. We can discuss whether puppy training, one-to-one dog training or behaviour support seems the most appropriate next step. You’re welcome to ask questions about my approach before deciding anything. I’ll be honest about what I can offer rather than promise an outcome from a brief conversation.

Online support for Wisbech owners

A visit isn’t the only way to ask for guidance. Online sessions are available if you would prefer to discuss your dog from home. We can talk about the challenges you’re seeing and decide whether working online fits the issue. Some practical work may need a different arrangement, so I’ll discuss suitability rather than assume every concern can be addressed remotely.

Qualifications and a considerate approach

I hold BCCSDip.ProCanBhvPct, am fully insured and canine first aid qualified. I’m recommended by local veterinary practices, the RSPCA West Norfolk and Second Chance Spaniel Rescue. What matters in our work together is that you feel listened to and your dog is treated thoughtfully. My approach is ethical and reward-based, with practical guidance shaped around the life you share.
